Wagga trainer Scott Spackman will get his first real look at new stable arrival Elvezio at Albury on Saturday.
The five-year-old will be first up over 1175m in the Choices Wodonga Benchmark 66 Handicap, a challenging race including Dan McCarthy's topweight Northernero which is unbeaten at the Albury track.

Elvezio's last start was back in February, running sixth in a class two at Mudgee when trained by Paul Messara. In January, he had his second career win claiming a class one at Muswellbrook
The son of Elvstroem came to Spackman's stable only a month ago.
"We're more or less happy with him at home without impressing us," Spackman said.
"He's not a horse that overdoes himself in his work. But he looks a nice old country horse."
Earlier in his career, he was trained by Clarry Conners and there were high hopes for the horse. He ran seventh in the group two Stan Fox Stakes at Randwick in 2019 and later was last in a group three at Newcastle.
Spackman hopes the horse could develop into a highway hope for the stable.
Jockey Kacie Adams, whose Darlington Point-based family is in the ownership, has ridden Elvezio in all 12 starts and is on board again.
They'll carry two-and-a-half kilos less than the favourite Northernero which has won five of his 19 starts.
Northerno saluted in a benchmark 58 at Swan Hill three starts ago and late last month was was seventh in a $50,000 benchmark 64 at Sandown, less than five lengths off the winner.
Albury trainer Donna Scott's SDRA Country Championships runner Halo Warrior is second up after being narrowly beaten in the $30,000 The Twilight at the track and distance back in early November.
Coincidentally, Griffith's Gino D'Altorio also has a new stable arrival debuting for him in the same race with Oakfield Navajo hoping to make it three wins in a row after victories at Muswellbrook and Warren in the spring for previous trainer Damien Lane.
