
Residents and motorists should plan ahead as Wagga City Council prepares to temporarily close Dunns Road for maintenance.
A stretch from Holbrook Road to the Olympic Highway will be closed from 7.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays between December 14 and 24 so workers can complete maintenance grading.

Access to the road will be for residential traffic only, but it will reopen at the end of each shift according to council.

It was revealed in November that the $8.3 million Dunns Road upgrade has been delayed until next year due to heavy rain.
The council and the federal government jointly funded the safety upgrade to the "dangerous" road.
