Three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District as statewide cases spiked to over 400 for the second day in a row.

A breakdown of the case numbers by local government area is not available, as the health district recently switched from daily to weekly updates with a focus on vaccination and testing numbers.
Meanwhile, the state has recorded 420 new COVID cases and one death in a second consecutive day of 400-plus infections.
In the 24 hours to 8pm Wednesday, there were 84,883 tests taken across the state and there are 151 people in hospital with the virus in NSW and 25 of those require intensive care.
To date, no Omicron cases have been admitted to hospital in NSW for treatment of COVID-19.
The state's second dose vaccine rate has hit 93 per cent, while the first dose rate remained just short of the 95 per cent milestone at 94.7 per cent.
The community is encouraged to keep coming forward for COVID-19 testing and vaccination.
Vaccinations can be booked at more than 100 providers across the Riverina by using healthdirect.gov.au.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, sore throat, cough, headache, runny nose, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches or pains, and a change in taste or smell.
