Wagga residents will have the choice of 21 different polling centres when they head off to cast their ballots in this Saturday's council election.

Schools, churches and community centres will be filled with polling booths and will be opening their doors to the public from 8am.
The polling stations will stay open until 6pm after which voting will cease and counting will begin to determine the next cohort of Wagga councillors.
Voting in the election is mandatory and those who fail to do so will be hit with a fine of at least $55.
Residents registered to other local government areas will not be able to cast votes for those elections in Wagga and will need to register to vote online or over the phone through iVote - which closes at 1pm on Saturday.
