
A Riverina footballer remains in custody after pleading guilty to several charges in court.
James Henry Lawton, 30, appeared in Wagga Local Court this week on five charges, including drug possession, disqualified driving, using a vehicle without an authorised number plate, and using an unregistered car.

He pleaded guilty before Magistrate Chris Halburd.

The forward, who played for the Marrar Bombers in the Farrer League this year, will be sentenced on December 13.
He appeared in court last month after being caught asleep in a car in Wagga on October 26.
The vehicle had been stolen in Albury two days earlier.
A stolen mountain bike and 13 cannabis seeds were also in the car.
He avoided jail for that offending.
