Colts dismantled the Cats batting line up in the last season's preliminary final, bowling them out for 82 in the 201-run victory to go through to the grand final.
Wagga City had a good win over Wagga RSL to start the season before Wagga's record wet November intervened.
After three washouts, Cats captain Josh Thompson can't wait to get back in the middle.
"We're looking forward to having a good hit out against Colts after all the rain," Thompson said.
"They smashed us last time in the finals so we're looking forward to getting into them."
Meanwhile Colts are looking to regroup after a tough start to the season.
Their new-look lineup were comfortably beaten by South Wagga in the grand final rematch to start the competition last month.
However captain Keenan Hanigan is looking for a much more positive display following three successive washouts.
"It's been nearly a month since our last game and there were a few cobwebs in that one," Hanigan said.
"It was always going to be a funny game that first one, not knowing what to expect and we got touched up in the end but this is probably the start of our season now.
"We've had a couple of solid weeks of training, even with all the rain, and everyone has turned up and is ready to go."

While they have improved their bowling depth this season, a better batting performance is what Hanigan is really looking to see after being one of only three players to reach double figures in round one.
"We were just outplayed in the end and we just didn't have enough runs on the board," he said.
"We were beaten by the better side on the day."
Wicketkeeper Shaun Smith is out of the side to play in the Bradman Cup while Nick Bembrick is also unavailable.
It gives Harrison Starr a chance to make his first grade debut alongside older brothers Hamish and Zach after impressing in second grade to start the season.
Nate Mooney is also unavailable
Meanwhile Wagga City will be without Aaron Maxwell and Hugh Jenkins for the clash.
However they welcome back Ed Grigg after he finished his HSC exams while Tim Jenkins also comes into the side.
