Police are urging the person behind a vandalism attack at Wagga's courthouse to hand themselves in before they are tracked down.

Officers attended the Wagga Courthouse about 8.50am on Tuesday after being called by staff.
Upon arrival they found graffiti on one of the brick walls saying "revenue court" as well as a substance that could have been oil, alcohol or urine according to Riverina Police District Inspector Josh Broadfoot.
"We are yet to review the CCTV, but that will be reviewed," he said.
"So we encourage the perpetrator to come forward before we track them down.
