Police are appealing for the public's assistance in finding a missing Riverina man, describing his disappearance as "out of character".

Shane Lloyd-Jones, aged 53, was last seen on November 18 at Sutton Street, Cootamundra.
He was reported missing on November 26 and officers attached to Riverina Police District commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
"While extensive inquiries have been conducted, Shane has not been found and there are concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition, and his disappearance is out of character," a statement said.

Shane is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm to180cm tall, with a large build, brown/grey shoulder-length hair and a beard.
While he lives in the Riverina, he has links to the NSW South Coast.
