White, 55, will return to Sky Racing as one of the race day hosts for meetings in the Southern District Racing Association (SDRA) and other parts in the state.
White previously worked for Sky Racing but spent the past 10 years as chief executive of Wagga Harness Racing Club (WHRC) before his departure last year.
"It's a privilege to be back working for Sky Racing in a capacity I always loved and missed when I took up the role with harness racing," White said.
"I have made a lot of close friends from racing which has been my life since I was a teenager.
"I look forward to bringing some of the atmosphere from the meetings to the viewing public and portraying the stories of the participants."
White will take over the role left vacant by the departure of John Scorse earlier in the year and work alongside former jockey Chynna Marston.
White began his new role at the Sapphire Coast race meeting on Monday and will be in the chair for Wagga's meeting next Monday.
