Well before turning two years- of-age, Choice Chance tackled open company for the first time, a gritty effort at Bathurst over 307m and has since won 11 top grade races.

Such is her rich form, Choice Chance has not missed a place in six starts (four wins) since October 1 and, in that time, posted a career best 18.14 over the 320m trip at Wagga.

Two starts back, she scored at Temora in a near record 18.67 before closing late to miss by a half length when second to Oliver Izmir at Wagga on November 12 in 18.21.

Wide boxes have been Choice Chance's happy place and she exits box six (Race Four) this time.

Smart Victorian Oriental Amber represents the 'X Factor'. Echuca trainer Rodney Clark makes the 320 kilometres trip to Wagga for the first time with Oriental Amber - the winner of 25 races from just 59 outings.

While effective from wide boxes, Oriental Amber has been best performed when drawn close to the inside and lack of experience at Wagga is another consideration for punters.

And let's not forget Oliver Izmir. He shanghaied from box eight to wrest the lead from Oriental Amber before the first turn on November 12 and the same alley again.

Oliver Izmir has been beaten only once in seven starts at Wagga from box eight (all over 320m) and will have plenty of support.

The lids fly in the first of 11 races at Wagga at 6.47pm.
