About 8.30pm on Wednesday, police have been told a man left a gathering with friends on a private property on Lower Thule Road, Thule - about 70 kilometres north-west of Moama - on a dirt bike.
Shortly after, the man rode the motorcycle through a paddock, before losing control after failing to negotiate an embankment, according to NSW Police.
After the impact threw the rider off the dirt bike and knocked him unconscious, a witness rendered first aid and contacted emergency services.
