The production is not only an excuse for a fun and entertaining night out, but you will also get to see the talents of locals such as lead Justine Hogan who will be showcasing her impressive vocal range as she steps into the shoes of Donna Sheridan.
No stranger to the musical realm, Bill Robertson is also among the cast, starring as one of Donna's three love interests, Harry Bright.
Mamma Mia tells the story of a bride-to-be, Sophie, who is trying to find her real father, using hit songs by 1970s group ABBA.
Mr Robertson performed in his very first musical back in 1985, but his experience hasn't dulled his excitement for the production in the slightest, and he can't wait to showcase it in front of an audience.
"Mamma Mia has been one of the most successful musicals in the world, it has generated millions," he said.
"It is a massive commitment for all of the cast and the production team has been amazing."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The cast and crew have been rehearsing twice a week, with tickets to the performances at the Wagga Civic Theatre in February now on sale.
Performer Belinda Landsdell, who plays one of Donna's exuberant best friends Rosie Mulligan, said she is most excited for the audience's reaction to such a "joyful" production.
"It's a really joyful production," she said. "There are no real low points, it's just very positive and fun."
Ms Landsell is particularly happy about being able to embody her character Rosie, with who she said she shares similar personality traits with.
"My character is not serious at all," she said.
"She is adorable. She's loving and free-spirited. She's one of those people everyone loves and she doesn't care what people think. She's unapologetically herself." Ms Landsell said it is a show that welcomes everybody.
