The $150,000 feature will again be held on a Saturday and has been penciled in for February 19.
The event returned to Wagga this year after two consecutive editions in Albury and MTC president Geoff Harrison is pleased to be able to host the popular raceday again.
"It's very good," Harrison said.
"We talked to Albury about it and we deserve it again after last year with the numbers that we had. Honestly though, if we can get it two years here and two years in Albury, I think that's fair in the SDRA and that's what you've got to look at."
This year's Country Championships race day proved one of the biggest and best yet with a crowd of more than 2500 turning out to witness Another One take out a thrilling finish.
MTC put a lot of effort into the raceday to ensure it's success, adding prizemoney to the supporting feature, the Tom Patton Cup, in what was already a showcase meeting.
The club attracted a couple of big-name DJs as part of entertainment in the 'Sky Call Lawn'.
Interestingly, this year it will clash with the Junior State Cup touch football in Wagga, an event that draws thousands and books out accommodation well in advance.

Harrison said the club would again look to go big with the raceday.
"We want to be able to build on what we did last year, which was superb, Steve Keene did a terrific job on the way it was promoted and the amount of people that were here," Harrison said.
"I think if we can build on that, it gives us two years and it's up to Racing NSW after that.
"We wanted our country championship to be the best in the state and it pretty well was and we'll have another good crack at it next year."
This year's edition of the SDRA Country Championships Qualifier is shaping as the strongest yet.
The Gary Colvin-trained Another One will return to defend his crown but looks set to face strong opposition in the likes of Sunrise Ruby and Participator, along with many other promising types.
In a notable change to this year's Country Championships series, the wild card will move away from Muswellbrook for the first time and be hosted by Scone Race Club.
That will allow the race to be held over 1400m, as opposed to 1280m. It will be held on Sunday, March 20, two weeks out from the final.
The SDRA heat is one of just two Saturday meetings out of the eight qualifiers.
The $500,000 final will be held at Randwick on Saturday, April 2, the opening day of the Championships.
