Welcome Here stickers have been proudly displayed in police stations across the Riverina as a part of a broader diversity and inclusion project.

The initiative encourages local businesses and services to display the rainbow stickers in their window, a sign to let everyone know that LGBTIQA+ diversity is welcome and celebrated.
Riverina Police District Commander Andrew Spliet said it was an excellent opportunity to make one message clear - police stations in the Riverina are a safe place for all community members.
He said it was an honour to host the LGBTQI liaison officer for NSW Police, Inspector Alison Molyneux, during the week.
"We are here to support the LGBTQI community as they go about their daily life," Superintendent Spliet said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"All of our police stations are welcoming and will assist them whenever they can."
NSWPF Corporate Sponsor for Sexuality, Gender Diversity and Intersex, Assistant Commissioner Gelina Talbot, says everyone in the LGBTIQA+ community is welcome, respected and protected in any of the police stations.
"They should feel safe to report crime and know that our stations are a safe place to seek refuge if they are under the threat of violence," Assistant Commissioner Talbot said.
