Moeilesami Moegatuli Afegogo was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, but this was withdrawn by the Department of Prosecutions at Wagga Local Court on Wednesday.
He has now been charged with reckless wounding and the matter will remain in the local court.

Moegatuli Afegogo was arrested by police on June 26 after they say they found him with a laceration to his head and a 24-year-old man with wounds to his head and torso on Hill Street at Junee.
The case returns on December 14. Magistrate Christopher Halburd said a plea is to be entered on that date and there would be no further adjournments.
Moegatuli Afegogo remains in custody and will appear via video link on December 14.
