Beasley produced a masterful front-running ride to guide Lim's Lightning to victory in the group one feature at Kranji last Sunday.
It was a sweet victory for Beasley, combining with good mate Daniel Meagher to get the $3.80 second favourite home.
It continued a successful return to the saddle for the 46-year-old, who leads the Singapore jockey's premiership by six wins with only a couple of race meetings remaining.
"It's a special win as I've never won the Gold Cup before, and to do it with Dan, it means so much to me," Beasley told The Sporting Post.
"Credit to Dan (Meagher) for getting him right after his comeback from Australia where he didn't do so well, but credit to just the horse himself.
"The way he has turned around especially in the last one and a half months, after his well-documented setback before the QEII Cup, to get him fit and ready again was really special."
Beasley made a surprise return to race riding in February this year, having announced his retirement back in August 2017.
He spent time as stable foreman for Meagher
It was Beasley's third group one in Singapore this year, having guided Lim's Lightning to victory in the Raffles Cup (1600m) in September and the Lion City Cup (1200m) in April.

WAGGA trainer Gary Colvin will be hoping Sizzling Cat can go one better in Saturday's Highway.
Wagga will be represented by Sizzling Cat and the Wayne Carroll-trained Sumdeel in the $100,000 TAB Highway Class Three Handicap (1600m) at Kembla Grange.
Sizzling Cat ran a fast-finishing second at Rosehill a fortnight back and Colvin believes he will be suited by the step up to the mile on Saturday.
"I honestly think he'll improve a bit," Colvin said.
"He'd only had the 1300 metre run and that trial before the 1500 metre run last start.
"He wouldn't have to improve too much to be right in the finish. They are always strong races but you've got to have a crack at them."
Tyler Schiller retains the ride on Sizzling Cat and his three kilogram claim again comes in handy, dropping the four-year-old to 53.5kg. He has drawn barrier eight.
Kerrin McEvoy has been booked to ride Sumdeel, who is drawn wide in 12.

TALENTED Wagga galloper Another One has gone to the paddock.
He again produced impressive closing sectionals when running a close-up sixth at Rosehill two weeks ago.
Wagga trainer Gary Colvin said Another One will have another couple of weeks in the spelling paddock before returning to defend his crown in the SDRA Country Championships Qualifier.
Colvin will see how the four-year-old returns before weighing up whether to tackle the $150,000 feature first-up or not.
"I'll see how he's going," Colvin said.
"He can afford to win another one so we'll see."
Next year's Country Championship Qualifier is shaping up as the strongest SDRA edition yet.
Among the horses potentially headed that way are Another One, Sunrise Ruby, Participator, Swagger, Power Me Up, Branders Rule, Tap 'N' Run, Hardware Lane, Mnementh, Sizzling Cat, Blitzar and Bautista.

MURRUMBIDGEE Turf Club will welcome a new director at next week's Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Simon Rosengren has decided not to stand again after two years on the board.
Rosengren was one of three new Racing NSW-appointed directors added to the board in November 2019 but has informed the club he will not seek another term.
Racing NSW received a number of applications for the vacant position, which is expected to be made official at the AGM.
The MTC AGM will be held on Tuesday at 6pm in the Member's Lounge. The club is expected to again announce another excellent financial result.

A COUPLE of Southern District gallopers enjoyed success at Wangaratta on Tuesday.
The Rob Wellington-trained Saint Henry ($2.70) made it back-to-back wins with an impressive victory in the Benchmark 58 Handicap (2000m).
Fellow Albury trainer Laura McCallum also enjoyed success as Fiorensact ($2.80) notched up his first win in the Maiden Plate (1590m).

ALBURY trainer Laura McCallum will be chasing her first city success with Gusonic at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
Gusonic is down to run in the Benchmark 64 Handicap (1200m).
Gusonic ran second first-up at Corowa, behind Flying Finch, earlier this month and has wins at Wangaratta and Wodonga to his name earlier in the year.

The jockeys, stewards and Gundagai Adelong Racing Club all deserve credit for pushing on and allowing the meeting to go ahead in difficult conditions.
Unfortunately, the second day of the carnival, featuring the Hair of the Dog Cup, was abandoned due to the wet weather.

CANBERRA trainer John Rolfe is $400 lighter in the pocket after Snake Gully Cup day.
Rolfe was fined for improper conduct in the steward's room at Gundagai.
Kembla Grange trainer Anthony Mountney was also fined $500 for failing to advise stewards without delay that Belieber suffered a one-nose bleeding attack at trackwork in October.
Belieber bled from both nostrils after running third as the beaten favourite in the $50,000 Snake Gully Flying (1000m).
