The Bureau of Meteorology recorded wind gusts of 91km/h just before 4pm, resulting in several trees reportedly falling across roads and properties throughout the area.
Wagga, Junee and The Rock SES units responded to calls for assistance, working quickly to remove the trees and restore access to roads.
Crews were also deployed in response to roof damage calls and undertook temporary repairs.
As wet and windy weather continues across the region, emergency responders are reminding locals to take care on our roads, and that the storms we are experiencing could lead to flash flooding.
"Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater. If it's flooded, forget it," the SES said.
