The third and fourth rounds of the club championships at both Wagga Country Club and Wagga City Club will be held over Saturday and Sunday.
Wagga City Golf Club manager Andy White confirmed they will push ahead despite the heavy rain that arrived on Friday, and was forecast for the weekend.
"We'll push ahead unless it's unplayable," White said.
"There should be an interesting finish to it.
"They had a terrible start, had a good weekend last weekend and look like they might be in for a terrible finish."
Kyle Tuckett (152) leads by three shots at the halfway mark at Wagga City.
Heath Russell (155) and Mick Hazell (155) lead the chasing, with Jeremy Whalan (158) next.
The lead groups will be seeded for the final round and will tee off from around 9.30am on Sunday.
At Wagga Country Club, they will get underway on Saturday but make a call on the playing conditions on each day.
Defending champion Luke Chisholm leads by two as he looks to grab his second club title.
Chisholm (145) shot opening rounds of 72 and 73. Ben Byrne leads the chasing pack on 147, with four-time winner Jarrod Meacham a shot further back on 148.
The leading groups will tee off just after midday on Sunday.
