The Bulls finished last in 2021-22, but began this campaign promisingly with a comprehensive win over St Michaels, compiling 3-125 off 25 overs chasing 188 before rain ended play.
The top order shouldered the responsibility with last year's second grade skipper Alex Tucker blasting 42 off 33 balls, while Sam Smith (33) and Rhauri MacLeod (22) made meaningful contributions.
They will look to back up that performance when they take on Kooringal Colts, who are coming off a loss to South Wagga, at Rawlings Park on Saturday.

"We made it a priority to try and get off to a strong start. Having a young side, if we can get early wins it helps for the confidence going into the season," Cooper said.
"We probably gave them a few extra runs with the ball, but that's first game back rust. But it's great to get a win first up.
"Alex Tucker took the game head on, which is exactly what we're chasing from him this season.
