The family that trains together, wins together. That could easily be the motto for the Braddon and McDonald families in Central West NSW.

Cowra-based Paul and Pam Braddon have been leading greyhound trainers for some time, and Pam's daughter Kylie and her husband Wes, have also been producing plenty of winners from their kennels at Springside near Orange.
Last Saturday night at Dubbo the McDonalds brought six runners to the meeting, and the Braddons ferried 11 from their kennels.
By the end of the night, between them they had won seven of the 11 races - the McDonalds had won three races and the Braddons four.
And to add just another chapter to the amazing achievement, Pam trained the trifecta in one race, and combined with Paul in another event to again train the first three across the line.
The McDonalds won races one (Fusion Diva), three (Rookie Fusion) and six (Riley's Fusion), while the Braddons won the last four races on the card - Paul winning race nine with Digger's Magic and race 10 with Arrie A Blaze which defeated Pam's Magical Bear and Paul's Rapid Hill Billy, while Pam took out the eighth with Benny's Bow and finished the meeting with a bang, winning the last with Blazing Lisa, and also training the placegetters with Lightning Blazer and Meeka's Charm.
Kylie admits she was destined for a life in the sport due to her family's involvement (she obtained her training licence as soon as she was able to) and their children also love the dogs.
