Wagga City Council has launched a new, four-week survey to help gather thoughts and opinions from the community on how playgrounds across the region should be changed and upgraded.
Council's strategic asset planner Ben Creighton said the spaces are a vital aspect of the city's social scene which they are hoping to make available for everyone in the community.
"The parks and playgrounds are very popular with families and in particular young families so it's really important we do try and get the community input into how we manage and build our future playgrounds and play spaces," Mr Creighton said.
"Council has got approximately 100 playgrounds across both the urban area and the villages and there's a real focus on making them inclusive and accessible."

Highlighting the Livvi's Place playground which opened in 2018, Mr Creighton said a lot of work had been done since the implementation of the 2016 playground strategy to make the areas more inclusive.
He said council will look to build on this work as well as implement any other features the community feels are necessary.
"The key things are just around what sort of infrastructure is required to make the playgrounds more accessible," Mr Creighton said.
"We're also looking for things like what other types of accessories and infrastructure might be required - things like shade and seating."
The survey is available on the Wagga City Council website and will be open until November 26.
Council will then collate the responses and redraft the 2016 playground strategy which will go on public exhibition early next year.
