The club's all-time leading wicket taker, Marc Vincent, along with their most prolific runscorer of the past decade, David Bolton, have both moved on.
Replacing the pair is a big task and instead coach Craig Footman is looking to take a more holistic approach.
"Bolts is just a hole we have to plug so it's a great opportunity to share the load," Footman said.
"I don't think the club is looking for one person to replace Bolts but it has to be the top six or seven with a combined effort to try to make up those runs."
Bolton has been the club's leading runscorer in each of his seven seasons with the club.
However Footman believes it is a chance for someone else to rise up out of his shadow.
"I see it as an opportunity for the current players and for the younger players coming through," he said.
"But to be quite honest it's something we're not focusing on. Vinny had a great career but last season was always going to be his last and we've got some great depth in bowling.
"We're looking ok and we're not focusing on superstars but having everyone in the 11 to contribute that extra 10 or 15 per cent and seeing where that takes us."

Footman is pleased to see some new faces at the club as well.
Zach and Harrison Starr will join brother Hamish at the club this season, Englishman Chris Saunders has come on board while Footman has also been impressed with Hayden Watling in the nets.
"He's fully recovered from his stress fractures and is bowling extremely quick," Footman said.
Kooringal Colts will start the delayed Wagga Cricket season with a grand final rematch with South Wagga at Harris Park on Saturday.
The Blues are one of the sides Colts will tackle three times in the one-day competition this season.
Footman is looking forward to the challenge.
"I think that is a really good thing for us as if you want to get better you have to play against the best sides," he said.
