A man arrested by heavily armed police during a drug and firearms operation in West Albury has allegedly escaped from his hotel quarantine.

Teenager Kyle Crighton allegedly fled isolation from a property on Wagga Road in Albury about 3am on Thursday.
He had been taken into custody with Kane Harniman during a raid on Friday last week, in which two guns and drugs were recovered.

Police yesterday said Crighton had breached public health orders by fleeing the hotel.
"A warrant has since been issued for his arrest for failing to comply with a self-isolation direction," a spokesman said.
