A Kooringal man will fight more than 70 charges levelled against him including 38 counts of killing, hunting, shooting or poisoning an animal.

Anthony Norman Nelson, 48, appeared at Wagga Local Court on Wednesday where he entered a plea of not guilty to 77 offences.
Mr Nelson was charged after a Rural Crime Prevention investigation that included a raid at a property on Lake Albert Road in Kooringal on June 29.
During the search, police allegedly seized hunting equipment, dog collars, GPS trackers, fireworks, mobile phones, a Toyota LandCruiser and cannabis.

Other charges include possession of a prohibited drug, possessing, supplying or making explosive for unlawful purpose, and hunting game on private or public land without a licence.
Police will allege in court that the man - who is an unlicensed hunter - had conducted illegal hunting activities across NSW between January and June 2021 and on occasions used dogs with tracking collars to hunt.
The matter will next appear before Tumut Local Court on January 24, 2022.
