IT'S probably a struck match between the number of grades Dane Fuller has given out as a teacher, and how many he's coached at Collingullie-Glenfield Park.

But the Demons stalwart is ready to add another to his CV after agreeing to coach the club's AFL Southern NSW Women's side next season.
Fuller, who has coached all grades from Auskick under sixes to reserve grade over the years, will take the helm with Emily Newton and Dee Wolter as his assistants.
Wolter has made the shift from Brookdale Bluebells and Newton from defending champions Charles Sturt University.
Fuller said ensuring more females fill leadership roles in the women's game is crucial for its future.
"I'm excited to have them on board. You want as many women involved as possible in senior positions in women's footy for it to grow,," Fuller said.
Fuller said he enjoyed the experience of coaching The Riverina Anglican College's girls team this year and was looking forward to stepping up to the senior ranks.
"I'm a school teacher and coached the girls this year, which I really enjoyed. They're always willing to learn and get better and I'm sure it will be the same in the seniors," he said.
"I've coached almost every grade at Gullie except for first grade. I've been around the footy club forever and played over 300 games there.
"The first year (the club was in the competition last season) was a bit about testing the waters and getting people involved. To have Emily and Dee on board to add some experience will be good, and once the season starts we should have a good squad."
Newton, also a ruckman-forward, said making the shift from an established league heavyweight was tough, but said the desire to coach was borne during her time out of the game with an ACL injury last year.
"I did my ACL last year in the Canberra competition and had a bit of an off field leadership role with CSU," she said.
"I had a mentor role with a few girls and seeing them grow so quickly was really rewarding. That really drove me to take on a coaching position.
"I was training with the Gullie men all throughout the year and I learnt so much. As soon as Noel (Penfold, president) asked me if I'd be interested in coaching I wanted to pursue that."
Wolter has filled a team manager role with the Bluebells and is also a level one sports trainer.
"I'm excited to step up with Dane and Emily with coaching and work with the girls," she said.
"The progression in the league is fantastic. The skills the girls pick up, from starting with the basic skills to doing some good things is great to see."
