Of the 46 cases recorded in the MLHD to 8pm on Sunday night, 41 have listed addresses in the Albury local government area and one in each of the Coolamon, Murrumbidgee, Greater Hume, Federation and Berrigan LGAs.
On Sunday it was announced that a resident of the Coolamon local government area was among the new cases.
However, the MLHD have confirmed that while that case and the second one revealed on Monday both have listed addresses in Coolamon Shire, they are not currently living in the district.
"The two cases recorded for the Coolamon LGA are currently in isolation outside the MLHD and have not been in the community during their infectious period," a statement from the MLHD said.
On Sunday it was announced that a resident of the Wagga LGA had tested positive for COVID-19, but a list of exposure sites is yet to be released.
The Service NSW App is now providing COVID-19 case alerts to assist with efforts in contact tracing, and some Wagga locations that have reportedly been identified through this have not been uploaded to the NSW Health's list of exposure venues.
IN OTHER NEWS:
There have been no further detections of traces of COVID-19 in sewage in the past 24 hours, but as reported on Saturday, fragments were recently detected in sewage in Wagga at the Kooringal plant and Jerilderie.
There has been a total of 348 cases and two deaths recorded in the MLHD since the start of the current outbreak.
A statement from the MLHD said as cases continue to grow in the Murrumbidgee LHD it is critical that residents come forward for vaccination.
"Vaccination is proven to prevent serious illness of COVID-19 and lower the risk of transmission," they said.
"It is particularly important that those in the 12 to 15 aged group come forward for vaccination, as the MLHD works with the NSW Department of Education to manage COVID-19 in the Albury LGA.
"93.7 per cent of residents in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District have now had their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 79.1 per cent are fully vaccinated."
NSW has recorded 294 new COVID cases and four deaths in the most recent 24-hour period, and there were no new overseas cases in the numbers announced on Monday.
The deaths take the toll of the NSW outbreak that began in August to more than 500 people. There are 474 people in hospital across the state with COVID-19 and 116 require intensive care.
Meanwhile, 84.8 per cent of the state's adult population is double vaccinated, with first doses at 93 per cent.
