The prosecution team in a drug case have dropped seven charges levelled against an Ashmont man after a plea of guilty was entered to supplying ice.

Gavin Lenon, 40, was represented at Wagga Local Court on Wednesday by his solicitor John Weir, who entered a plea of guilty to a principal charge of supplying 140 grams of methamphetamine.
He will now face Wagga District Court for sentencing, where the judge will also consider a further charge of taking part in the supply of 3.6kg cannabis.

After confirming these pleas, Crown prosecutor Sam Baumgarten confirmed the seven other charges would be withdrawn and dismissed.
This included five counts of taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug, one of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and one of participating in a criminal group and contributing to illegal activity.
Lenon is due to appear before Wagga District Court on November 19, when a sentencing hearing date will be fixed.
