President Tim Capp invited lovers of their local shows to throw their hat in the ring with a design.
"This brand needs a logo, and we reckon there's someone out there who loves their local show, understands what we're all about, and has the design skill needed to bring our new name to life," Mr Capp said.
Mr Capp said the winning design would play a central role in recognition of AgShows.
"The secondary audiences are the attendees at local shows, of which there are nearly 1 million annually in NSW, and policy-makers," he explains. "We need policy-makers in particular to be able to see our brand and immediately understand what we do and what we stand for."
The competitions comes on the back of the cancellation of most shows in the latter half of 2021 including Wagga's annual show.
The new design would head up the return of the shows in 2022. The competition closes at 5pm on October 31, with the will be winner announced in December ahead of a new logo launch in early 2022.
Those eager to enter should submit a design as well as 200 words on the design and another 200 words explaining their link to agricultural shows.
Submissions can be made here.
