Two men and a woman wo became lost in the Pericoota State Forest near the border of NSW and Victoria have been found safe and well following a large-scale search operation.

At 8.45pm on Sunday October 17, emergency services were called to Perricoota State Forest following reports that a man and woman had become lost while travelling along the Murray River.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The man and woman had set off down the river in a small boat about noon on Saturday and were reported missing in the evening after telling a friend they were lost near Womboota, just north of the border.
A coordinated search of the area was undertaken on Monday involving officers from Murray River Police District, as well as with PolAir, the VRA, SES and NSW Forestry.
During the search, police became aware that a 58-year-old man was also missing with the group.
Around 3:25pm on Mondya afternoon the trio were located by NSW Forestry staff.
They were walking on Burrumbarry Road, Wamboota near Perricoota State Forrest.
NSW Ambulance assessed the group as a precaution, however there were no reported injuries.
