The Wagga club has welcomed Troy Dargin on board for the 2022 season, fresh off leading the Quakers Hill Destroyers to a COVID-impacted premiership in the Penrith District competition.
Set to play in the halves this season, Brothers co-coach James Hay believes adding in more experience will be a big boost to the team.
Hay is pleased to have Dargin on board.
"He's played plenty of Sydney footy and we tried to get him down last year and it didn't quite work out," Hay said.
Hay believes his versatility will be a big boost for the club who went winless last season.
"He can play lock, five-eighth or centre," he said.
"He's pretty versatile, which is good."
Dargin has also played fullback at various stages of his career.

Hay and Brodie Rigg will combine for a second year in the coaching role, however Rigg will take to the field as well this season following knee surgery.
It is his links with Rigg that has seen Dargin come to the club.
However the 28-year-old is a familiar face to a number of Brothers teammates having played together with Dindima.
He's looking forward to a new football experience in Wagga.
"I don't know how it all works down here but I'm about to find out," Dargin said.
"I'm hoping to play a bit of a leadership role in the club and maybe get on board with a bit of coaching as well leading the team around in the halves."
After missing out of playing football in 2020, and then having this season cut short, Dargin thought the time was right to make the move.
He's been enjoying Wagga so far.
"It's a good change to get away from Sydney with everything that is going on," Dargin said. "Being a bit further out now I can play a bit of footy, meet some new blokes and enjoy being in a country town."
Brothers aren't expecting too many departures from last season as they look to boost their depth.
