They'll have their fingers crossed that's the case after they were given another chance to host the Masters State Titles and Netball NSW Social Masters on October 15-16 next year.
Equex Centre's indoor and outdoor courts were originally due to host the carnivals concurrently in 2020, before COVID forced them to be postponed.
Netball NSW allocated the events to Wagga again this this year before the pandemic denied them again.
Netball NSW executive general manager of community and pathways, Darren Simpson, said Wagga deserved a chance to host the event after their poor luck, and the organisation is focused on sending the carnivals to country areas.

"We're committed to having this event in regional locations," he said.
"We brought it to Tamworth (in 2019) and we've got a beautiful facility there in Wagga which we've been trying to get to now for two years. Our commitment to get there hasn't waned.
"It's got the perfect mix of the indoor stadium and the outdoor courts right next door, it's exactly what we need.
"It allows us to play the state titles aspect on the indoor courts, and the socials outside. After play everyone can get together and mingle together."
After a couple of 'dry runs' WWNI will be well placed to have COVID protocols down pat should it remain an issue in 12 months' time.
"We're hopeful it's not a problem but we're pretty well versed in it now," Simpson said.
"We just hope we're getting back to normality. We also hope the Masters players who haven't been able to get away for a weekend for a long time now are very keen, which leads to a bumper tournament in Wagga next year.
