Instead the first round of the competition will remain on November 6.
With NSW reaching the 80 per cent double vaccination rate earlier than initially anticipated, play could have started on Saturday.
Cricket Albury-Wodonga will take up the earliest possible start date, however operations manager Paul McKelvie revealed shifting the start date was not considered by Wagga Cricket
"I think the reason it wasn't suggested was clubs are still getting their heads around what they have to do and giving blokes more opportunity to get doubled vaxxed," McKelvie said.

McKelvie revealed pitch preparation was another factor that went into the decision.
"Our wickets still wouldn't be ready," he said.
"It hasn't been warm so the wickets would be pretty average if we were to start any earlier.
"That's no disrespect to the curators but the conditions just haven't been conducive for what we need to do."
Sticking firm on the November 6 starting date will see an uneven 12-round one-day season played.
The six sides will play each other twice with the remaining two fixtures determined by where the teams placed on the ladder last year.
"That was unanimously voted in favour of by all delegates at the meeting on Wednesday night," McKelvie said.
"There were all in agreeance with the proposed draw."
It means the season will start with a grand final rematch between South Wagga and Kooringal Colts at Harris Park while St Michaels face Lake Albert at Robertson Oval and Wagga City and Wagga RSL play at McPherson Oval.
The standalone Twenty20 competition returns in January, but this time there will be non-stop action.
Plans are for the competition to start on Thursday, January 13 and there will be at least one match played each day on the next 10 days.
There will be one day off before the final is played under lights on Tuesday, January 25.
Second, third and fourth grades will also get a taste of Twenty20 cricket this season over three rounds around the Christmas break.
