Five Blues have found their way into the side, compiled by the most popular choices from the eight clubs.

Blues co-coach Lachlan Bristow, who has earned his place in the team for the first time, was far from surprised to see Tumut and Southcity dominate the side.

"It just goes to show how good of a year we had," Bristow said.

"There are plenty of faces in there and you probably could have made a case for a few more."

Of them four are forwards.

Tolo Aroha-Tuinauvai was selected in the centres with Bristow, fellow co-coach Zac Masters, Ron Leapai and Adam Pearce also in the side.

Bristow believes it is reflective of their style for the past few seasons.

"It's been our strength for the last couple of seasons and they've had a great year," he said.

"Without them the backs wouldn't be able to play the great footy they also did."

Southcity are also well represented with four members of their line up earning their places.

Latrell Siegwalt snared the fullback position while Daniel Foley was the other centre.

Nathan Rose was named at five-eighth while Connor McCauley is the sole Bulls forward in the side.

Tumut took a two-point win over the Bulls when they met in a game that was set to determine the minor premiership before the season was called off.

"It probably makes sense as we were the top two teams all year and did finish first and second," Bristow said.

"It's no surprise to see a few faces from both teams."

Weissel Medal winner Mitch Cornish is one of only two players to be selected in each rival club's side. Alongside Masters.

Cornish was one of two Young players in the team with Jake Veney securing a place on the wing.

Temora fullback Hamish Starr was named on the other wing while Luke Berkrey is Gundagai's only representative.

No players from Kangaroos, Brothers or Albury. were selected.

Rose, who has made the surprise move to Gundagai for next season, was named coach of the year while Sean Byatt was named referee of the year.
