NSW Health identified about 90 close contacts and a further 100 casual contacts linked to the member of the Kildare Catholic College community who tested positive last week.
Elizabeth O'Carrigan, the director of Catholic Education, said the majority of students are set to return to campus on Tuesday.
"This was to provide the time for the college to undertake deep cleaning, contact tracing and reassess their mitigation strategies," she said.
"Students who were identified as close contacts or casual contacts will be learning remotely for the period of their isolation.
