Rather than bring an examiner to the studio to judge students face-to-face, Yvonne O'Connor School of Dancing has instead filmed their examinations to be sent virtually.
Studio owner Yvonne O'Connor said that a senior student assisted with filming, and despite the "very challenging" COVID climate, the exams went along smoothly and were enjoyed by all students.
"It was an experience for them dancing to a camera, rather than for a person," Mrs O'Connor said.
Around 30 children completed their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet examinations at the studio this month.

"It just makes them achieve something [and] work towards something," she said of the exam process.
