The business, comprising a farmstay and equestrian centre, was set up in 2011 by Mrs Riethmuller who has been a Wagga resident for over 30 years.
Listed for sale online last Friday, Mrs Riethmuller said her decision to sell was in part prompted by the COVID-19 outbreak which saw her husband Jeremy's travel agency Where In Your World Travel & Cruise impacted by the travel ban.
In addition, most of the family is getting ready to leave Wagga.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"With the travel industry in hibernation my husband, Jeremy is now working in Canberra and in 2022, our three children will be based in Sydney so it seemed like the right time to sell to allow more time for family," she told The Daily Advertiser.
She said while she is excited for a planned relocation to the South Coast, she leaves with very fond memories.
"We are extremely proud of what we have created at Belisi over the past 14 years," she said.
"We are so grateful for the support of the Riverina community over the years and are blessed with the best team a business could hope for, beautiful school horses and a caring and nurturing environment for our clients and guests."
The family is hoping for a buyer who will continue the business, with the majority of their staff eager to stay on.
The property may only have been on the market a week, but LAWD real estate's Tim Corcoran, who is overseeing the sale, said interest in the residential and commercial aspects has been strong.
"Its hard to ignore the income the property is generating on the farm stay and wellbeing equestrian centre," he said.
"The buyers are quite interested in those facets of the property.
"It's is not everyone's cup of tea, but it's something people would find hard to ignore and not proceed with those avenues of income."
He pointed out that, despite tourism being heavily impacted by the recent lockdown in NSW, the accommodation offerings at Belisi have overperformed.
"Belisi is already booked out until March and they have a 93 per cent occupancy rate," he said.
"Given the circumstances and renovations they've already done, that is going to positively affect the sale."
The listing is accepting expressions of interest until Thursday, 18 November.
As for what is on the horizon, Mrs Riethmuller said she is getting ready for a well-earned break from running a business, for now.
"While I have loved leading the Belisi team I'm ready to slow down and take a break," she said.
