A woman will face court accused of travelling at more than 200km/h after police were tipped off about a video showing her alleged dangerous driving.

On Saturday, officers from the Riverina Highway Patrol launched an investigation after receiving information about a video posted on social media showing a Queensland-registered Ford Focus travelling on Elizabeth Avenue, Forest Hill, about 3.50pm the same day.
Police will allege the video showed four people in the vehicle and one of the occupants filming the driver travelling at 220km/h in a signposted 100km/h area.

Her licence was suspended, and she was issued with a court attendance notice for driving at a speed/manner dangerous, exceeding speed in excess of 45km/h and negligent driving.
The woman is due to appear at Wagga Local Court on November 17.
