The Murrumbidgee Local Health District has recorded one new COVID case, bringing the region's total to 38 cases since the beginning of the Delta outbreak.

The latest case has been attributed to the MLHD, with the residential address of the patient identifying them as residing in the Federation Local Government Area.
Investigations are under way as the patient had not received testing within the MLHD either.
As of publication, no new venues of concern have been identified within the region.

It is predicted that the state will reach the 70 per cent milestone before the end of the week, with questions raised whether NSW's new Premier Dominic Perrottet will bring forward stage one of reopening.
Mr Perrottet is due to hold his first formal press conference as Premier later today.
NSW Health's Dr Jeremy McAnulty announced this morning that 608 new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in the 24 hours to 8 pm on Monday, and 85,642 tests were carried out across the state.
The total number of vaccines administered in NSW is now 10.4 million, with 67.5 per cent of the state fully vaccinated, and 88.5 per cent of the state have received their first jab.
"We are seeing a decline in testing," Dr McAnulty said.

Victoria recorded the highest COVID case number of any Australian State or territory in a single day since the start of the pandemic, recording 1763 cases in the past 24 hours.
Vic Health reported that yesterday 35,253 vaccines were administered across the state with 62,189 COVID test results received.
Only yesterday, Melbourne was named the city to have remained in lockdown the longest internationally.
