Geoff Seymour, who is overseeing the sale and leasing of the Boorooma Shops site at Phar Lap Place for the Catholic Diocese owners, has revealed the tenants on the cards for the specialty store development.
Two of the eight shops avaliable have interest from a locally-owned cafe and a hairdresser and a third space has been locked in for a chemist retailer.
Though national brand Chemist Warehouse was originally earmarked as a tenant for the long-awaited Estella shopping precinct, the brand is rumoured to be the Boorooma pharmacy tenant.

Mr Seymour could only confirm the future tenant is a "large chemist chain".
Chemist Warehouse did not respond to requests for comment.
Meanwhile, one lot allocated to a supermarket remains unlet but Mr Seymour confirmed they are negotiating with two main providers.
"We're talking to IGA and FoodWorks operators for that lot, they are showing the most interest in the site," he said.
Mr Seymour confirmed the approved specialty shops are on track to be completed by September 2022.
The latest movements on the shopping precinct follow confirmation of new details and a shorter timeline for the service station to go into the site's north east corner.
The final development could also include a hotel or pub, with the final parcel of land on the southern boundary of the development site currently listed for sale.
Mr Seymour confirmed the developers are hoping to lock in a hotel or medical centre for the space, but that it could be anything.
"Lot 1 is for sale and could be snapped up by anyone," he said. "That will complete the final stage of the development.
"We see it as a hotel, something like the Kooringal Hotel or Turvey Tavern servicing those people living out there, or it could be a medical centre."
The shopping development has been keenly anticipated by residents of the northern suburbs for decades and will be the first shopping option in the expanding area.
Mr Seymour anticipated the site will be mainly used by locals to Boorooma, Estella and Gobbagombalin, as well as people from Junee and Coolamon.
"I think these shops will mainly service the northern suburbs and the northern towns," he said. "Rural people coming into town on Old Nerranderra Road, or from Coolamon or Junee will use this centre as well."
