A Glenfield Park woman was denied bail in Wagga Local Court on Friday after appearing on charges relating to a man being stabbed early on Thursday morning.
Alisha Ford, aged 37, was remanded in custody to reappear on November 24 on the charge of wound person with intend to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man is in a stable condition in Wagga Base Hospital following surgery for stab wounds suffered at a home on Karoom Drive in Glenfield Park between 1am and 1.30am on Thursday.
Officers from Riverina Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing incident under Strike Force Kardina.
Ms Ford was also charged with assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty after she allegedly bit the arm of a male constable while being arrested.
Officers from Leeton Police Station arrested Ms Ford when they stopped a taxi on the Sturt Highway at Galore at about 10:15pm on Thursday night.

Police have charged a Glenfield Park woman over the stabbing of a man early on Thursday morning.
The man is in a stable condition in Wagga Base Hospital following surgery for stab wounds suffered at a home in Glenfield Park.
Officers from Riverina Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Kardina.
Following investigations, police arrested a 37-year-old woman after stopping a taxi on the Sturt Highway at Galore about 10.10pm on Thursday.
Police allege that during the arrest the woman bit the arm of a male constable.
She was taken to Wagga Police Station and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault police officer in execution of duty without actual bodily harm.

About 1.30am on Thursday, emergency services were called to Karoom Drive, Glenfield Park, after reports a man had been stabbed.
"Upon arrival, officers found a man with multiple wounds to his body. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 58-year-man at the scene, before he was conveyed to Wagga Base Hospital in a critical condition to undergo surgery," a NSW Police statement said.
Two crime scenes were established and examined by specialist forensic police.
The Glenfield Park woman is due to appear at Wagga Local Court on Friday.
