Kerry and Kaylene Flinn purchased the property at 44 Fox Street for $330,000 in 2016, and in 2020 undertook a major renovation effort.
"When we bought it, it was rundown," Mr Flinn said. "It was built in 1910 and had barely been touched since."
It still had the same carpet, there was a very small kitchen, only two bedrooms and it had a sleep out which was falling down."
After almost 100 years untouched, in just 12 months the building was transformed into an unrecognisable three-bedroom home in an almost $1 million renovation effort.

Mr Flinn, who is a long-time real estate agent with One Agency and oversaw the sale himself, said they aimed to preserve the heritage qualities while modernising the home in the renovation.
"We wanted to keep it looking like the original house which it does, but we pulled the back sleep out down and did a massive extension," Mr Flinn said.
"We wanted the open plan look and that cathedral ceiling from where we started the extension right through to the end of the entertaining area."
Building designer Kylie Hewitt of Rivplan Design brought the concept to life and the couple's son Damien's company Damien Flinn Construction did the building works.
Ms Hewitt said the changes were remarkable to see, pointing to the alfresco rear and plunge pool as the site's winning features.
"It started out as your typical red brick central Wagga home with all the mishmash of previous additions from the 60s and 70s at the rear," she said. "Now it has such a nice, bright, open and airy feeling.
"The aim was to keep things as large and simple as possible structurally, so when you look at the additions in plan view they are pretty simple, but we added interest in the roof height with exposed beams and the transition to the alfresco area."
Listed in July, the building was snapped up by a happy buyer within a month for at more than five times the initial purchase price.
Even with the expense of the renovation, the couple turned just shy of half a million dollars profit in the sale.
Mr Flinn who is a veteran of Wagga real estate said he thinks sale prices for similar renovations are only going to keep climbing, with demand for central property at an all-time high.
"The renovations are happening now, you only need to go for a drive around town and see how many homes are being renovated and extended everywhere," he said.
"I do think we'll start seeing higher prices soon exceeding what we have got."
Mr Flinn said they initially intended to live in the home but the thrill of the project has whet their appetite for more home transformations, and the pair are currently on the look out for their next property project in Central.
"We were going to stay there but we had so much fun doing that job that I got itchy feet and wanted to start again and Kaylene enjoyed it too, putting it all together and seeing the finished product," he said.
