Ramm finished his four-year tenure at Ag College on a high with a thrilling victory in this year's Bill Castle Medal for the best and fairest in the first grade men's competition.

Ramm, a SIRU representative centre, has returned home to Braidwood and won't be back in Wagga for another year at Ag College.

The 21-year-old will weigh up playing for Braidwood or travelling to Canberra to play next year.

"I won't be back in SIRU unfortunately," Ramm said.

"I'm undecided what I will do. I've had three years of pretty serious footy there so it would be good to play some good footy again. Not taking anything away from Braidwood, but it's only one grade.

"I might go to Canberra and have a run. It's only 50 minutes away. I haven't decided yet. I'll see what next year brings."

Regardless of where he plays next season, Ramm will look back on his time at Ag College with fond memories.

"I loved it. Uni was good but the footy really kept me there," Ramm said.

"The level of footy was great and being in two grand finals. I was lucky to be in two first grade grand finals so I loved it.

"I loved it out there. If I could be there for another couple it would be good but unfortunately that's just not the way it falls."

Ramm stepped up to captain Ag College this season and he credits the role for helping him take his game to a new level.

"I got nominated as captain and that really helped my footy. It helped me play a lot more mature style of footy," he said.

"First and second year were my first few years in grade footy and I was certainly still learning and then last year we obviously didn't play and this year, being captain, I took a lot more responsibility on and it certainly helped my footy.

"It made me a bit more confident in decisions. Its certainly the best season I think I played out there. A more mature style of footy and bringing that to Ag College certainly helps a bit."

Ramm, an outside centre, was also part of SIRU's representative squads that enjoyed success at the Brumbies Provincial Championships.
