A man in his 50s has walked away with minor injuries after a single-truck crash on the Hume Highway near Gundagai.

Emergency services were called to the scene, about 20 kilometres south of Gundagai, at 12.51pm on Monday after receiving calls a truck rolled into a gully before crashing into a tree.
One of two southbound lanes on the highway was closed, with police, Fire and Rescue NSW, ambulance and SES personnel all attending the scene.

The driver was found with a cut on his forehead, conscious and walking around the crash site.
The man has since been taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a stable condition.
One of the southbound lanes remains closed with drivers warned to exercise caution when travelling through the area.
