An MLHD spokesperson confirmed to The Daily Advertiser that the cases listed in the 24 hours to to 8PM on Friday are not necessarily linked to new exposure sites that date back as far as last Friday.

In an earlier release, they also clarified that contact tracing teams in the area are expected to contact each case within 24 hours of their diagnosis, but despite a "rigorous" approach cannot always identify all exposure sites at once.
