Why hire or rent instead of buying?

From vehicles to trailers right through to appliances and furniture you can hire almost anything today.

For things like appliances or furniture it means you can upgrade more regularly and have top-of-the-line brands which you might not be able to afford to buy outright.

Furniture hire is also increasing in popularity due to an increase in temporary living and renting.

For bigger ticket items like utes, trucks and trailers it's more about the frequency of use.

You might need a truck while moving house or a trailer while doing some work in the garden.

Or if you're heading away for the weekend or on holidays you might want to hire a luxury vehicle to make the experience more enjoyable.

For the rest of the year this vehicle (or trailer) is costing money in maintenance, registration and insurance.

If you're an avid gardener you might want to use a piece of equipment that you'll only need for a weekend. It makes sense to hire rather than buy outright just for it to sit in the shed for the rest of the year.
