The gift cards, which are yet to launch officially, are expected to provide a much-needed boost in the local retail economy.
Business Chamber President Jennifer Hand said the community's response has been "fantastic" ahead of the program's October rollout.

"Everything's all ready to go, the cards are ordered, and they'll be hitting Wagga in the next few weeks," Ms Hand said.
"We've got around 40 businesses on board with others really interested in taking part, so the word is starting to get around."
The gift card program aims to keep money within the local community, with only participating businesses enabled to accept funds.
"It keeps money cycling throughout our local community, so instead of purchasing a card where people can use it online and outside of the Riverina, this keeps the flowing through our businesses," Ms Hand said.
"Now that we've released the design and what the program will look like, we're getting contacted by businesses who are members [of the chamber], and businesses that just want to be a part of the program."
Those looking to pre-order a card or register their business can do so via the Business chamber's website.
