A young man was left in hospital with head injuries following a brawl erupting inside a Riverina club over the weekend.

Officers from the Riverina Police District were called to the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club following reports of a brawl about 7.30pm on Saturday.
Upon arrival, police located a 22-year-old man with head injuries who was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital where he received treatment.
Everyone else involved in the brawl had left the premises by the time officers arrived.

The brawl allegedly began following a verbal argument between two groups of people within the club.
NSW Police said no arrests have been made at this stage but an investigation has been launched into the incident.
