Stay-at-home orders will be introduced for the Hilltops Local Government Area, the Murrumbidgee Local Health District has confirmed.

A spokesperson said it would be in place from 6pm today [Friday] for one week and would apply to anyone who has been in the LGA since September 3.
State member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke, said the lockdown is a safeguard for the Hilltops communities after a case emerged overnight.
"I appreciate that will come as a blow to many with school holidays upon us, and the small amount of time that we have been able to enjoy out of the recent statewide lockdown," the said.
"However, in response to the COVID case and the fact that there are others under investigation at this time, with contact tracing teams working hard to identify venues of concern, a seven-day lockdown was decided in order to protect the community and safeguard against further spread of COVID in Young and Hilltops more broadly."
Everyone in Young, Harden and Boorowa and surrounding villages must stay at home unless it is for an essential reason.
This includes includes shopping for food, medical care, getting vaccinated, compassionate needs, exercise and work or tertiary education if you can't work or study at home.
The patient, a man aged in his 60s, presented to Young District Hospital and is now being treated in Wagga, the MLHD has confirmed.

"The source of infection is currently under investigation as contact tracers identify anyone this person may have come in contact with during their infectious period," a statement released on Friday morning said.
Hilltops Council residents who are fully-vaccinated can attend an outdoor gathering of up to five people for exercise or outdoor recreation as long as all of those aged 16 or older are fully vaccinated.
A NSW Education spokesperson said Young High School will be closed immediately today for cleaning and contact tracing after a member of the school community tested positive for COVID-19.
Parents and carers are asked to please collect their children. Supervision will continue to be provided until all students are collected.
All staff and students are asked to self-isolate and follow the NSW health advice and protocols.
NSW Health has requested anyone who has been unwell or if you develop any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness to be tested at one of the COVID-19 testing clinics.
