Painting has a full book of eight drives at Riverina Paceway.
He rated the two-year-old filly, who is taking on the older horses the best of his chances after drawing barrier one, the best of his chances.
"She's my best hope for the day definitely," Painting said.
"She has her fair share of ability."
The daughter of group one winner Shes A Runa, who has won two of her five starts, resumes after a fourth at Albury in March.
She hasn't trialled but Painting is confident she is right on track in the lead up to the NSW Breeders Challenge.
"She had a really good first prep in her career and she hasn't had a trial but her work at home is very strong," Painting said. "She has come a little bit better without having a trial but she is pretty forward in her work."
However older brother Rocknroll Runa isn't headed for this year's group one series.
Instead trainer David Kennedy has elected to give the three-year a longer break after winning eight of his 12 starts last season.
"He's being targeted for the TAB Regional race next year," Painting said.
"There were a few things not right with him at the end of his two-year-old season, which is why he was hanging in a lot of his runs, so Dave and his owners elected to give him the full season off.
"They thought he would be a good hope of winning that race."
Painting and Kennedy combine with four other chances at Wagga.
Among them is Louthario, who Painting was thrilled with after finishing fourth behind Bar Room Banta in track record time at Leeton last week.
"He's going really good, has drawn the back row but it is probably not the worst draw for him over the 2200," he said.
"I was rapt with how he went at Leeton and he will be right in that race.
"I didn't really know how good he was as he's had no luck since coming over from New Zealand."
Painting is also hoping for more luck with Aredoubleyou.
The gelding has finished second in three of his last five starts.
Painting takes over the reins this week, but knows he will need some luck after drawing barrier seven, just outside of the resuming Rockin With Elvis.
"He's been going unreal but he's drawn awkward and Hewitt's horse is a very nice horse so we will have our work cut out for him," he said.
He's also looking for Silent Rapture to return to her best after uncharacteristically over-racing last week.
It was the first time she has finished outside of the top four in 10 starts and the Euroley reinsman is still at a loss.
"She has drawn three barrier eights this prep and just fired right up on me last week," Painting said.
"I've got no doubt she is probably the best horse in the race but is going to need a lot of luck."
