At Monday evening's General Council Meeting the councillor asked that Oura Road near Patterson Road be considered for urgent repairs.
"There's a patch of road there, probably 80 to 100 metres long [where] it's dodge the pothole games," Cr Tout said. "There are more potholes than road surface."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The councillor said he was approached by a number of residents asking that the road be highlighted to council staff because of a potentially dangerous night time driving situation.
"I know there's troubles all over the LGA from the weather but this one is particularly bad, it's a particularly dangerous spot there," he said.
"If you're trying to avoid the potholes at night there is a drop off on the road and not a lot of room to move with two vehicles."
The councillor admitted he doesn't usually "do pothole councilling", with the city's potholes a long-standing source of frustration for local residents.
Council's Director of Operations Warren Faulkner has previously stated that council rely on public feedback to help control the pothole situation which is exacerbated by poor weather.
In July Mr Faulkner admitted a lack of maintenance of roads in previous decades is part of the problem and that Council are hoping for more funding to ensure that more preventative and proactive measures can be put in place going forward.
